Local Store Marketing Supervisor

 Role Purpose:

The Local Store MKT Supervisor role will be in charge of increasing store presence in the local area and making the store different from the competition in the area, building and embossing the local store uniqueness while executing national campaigns, and helping the store to achieve business goals (e.g awareness /sale/community presence).

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Local Marketing Campaigns: Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to the specific demographics and interests of the local community. This may involve creating promotions, organizing events, or forming partnerships with local businesses and organizations to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Promotions and Campaigns: Strategize and execute promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives aimed at driving foot traffic, boosting sales, and fostering customer loyalty. This includes designing creative promotions that resonate with the target audience and coordinating their implementation across various channels.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with the local community through proactive outreach programs, sponsorships of local events, and active participation in community initiatives. This helps to build goodwill, enhance brand reputation, and deepen connections with local customers.
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the Martech team to oversee the digital marketing efforts of the store. This involves managing social media accounts, crafting engaging content, executing email marketing campaigns, and utilizing online advertising platforms to effectively reach and engage with local customers in the digital space.
  • Advertising and Media Relations: Coordinate local advertising efforts across various channels such as print, radio, and outdoor advertising. Additionally, cultivate relationships with local media outlets to generate positive publicity for the store through press releases, interviews, and media coverage.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to gain insights into local consumer preferences, trends, and behavior. Utilize this information to inform strategic decision-making and develop marketing initiatives that resonate with the target audience.
  • Sales Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data to evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for optimization and make recommendations to enhance future marketing efforts.
  • Brand Compliance: Ensure all marketing materials and activities adhere to KFC's brand guidelines and standards. This includes maintaining brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints and ensuring that all communications reflect the brand's values and identity.
  • Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training and support to store staff on marketing initiatives and promotions. This includes equipping them with the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively promote the brand and engage with customers in line with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of local store marketing; provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team effectively implements marketing plans.

Professional Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Must have at least two years of experience as a Trade Marketing Supervisor in the F&B/FMCG industry.
  • Must have experience in developing and executing trade marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Have a good understanding of the food and beverage industry, including market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities
  • Competent in using data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

    Key Experiences:

  • Proven track record of working under pressure/to tight deadlines.
  • Experience in working with relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills
  • Budget Management.
  • Fluent in English.
